Manuskriptforfatter Bo hr. Hansen har, alene eller sammen med andre, skrevet et væld af danske spillefilm baseret på egne eller eksisterende forlæg. Denne aften skal det handle om hans mange bearbejdninger af danske romaner som fx Jakob Ejersbos Nordkraft, Erling Jepsens Kunsten at græde i kor, Morten Kirkskovs Kapgang og senest Jens Blendstrups Gud taler ud. Bo hr. Hansen fortæller om sine erfaringer med at adaptere litterære forlæg med vidt forskellige historier, karakterer og stemmer, og vi får også lov at høre om skrivearbejdet bag de kommende filmatiseringer af Lene Kaaberbøls Vildheks og Jussi Adler Olsens Journal 64.

Bo hr. Hansen er uddannet manuskriptforfatter fra Den Danske Filmskole og skriver ud over sit filmarbejde også digtsamlinger og dramatik. Han debuterede med manuskripterne til Søren Faulis punkkomedie De skrigende halse og Thomas Vinterbergs afgangsfilm Sidste omgang. Siden har han forfattet spillefilm som Kunsten at græde i kor og Kapgang og også skrevet tv-serier som Album (over Benn Q. Holms roman). Han var senest biografaktuel med manuskriptet til Gud taler ud over Jens Blendstrups bog, instrueret af Henrik Ruben Genz.
