En vandring på Ydre Vesterbro, med historier fra landevejen, stenbroen og slagtergårdene.
Sorte Hest lå langt ude på landet, for ikke så lang tid siden, sammen med Grønne, Gule og Hvide Hest. Enghavevej gik fra gennem marker, og førte ud mod Kongens Enghave. Fra 1800-tallets midte ændrede den landlige idyl sig, og Vesterbro voksede herud. Der opførtes både arbejderboliger og industri i området.
Vi går ad sideveje i baggårde for at følge kvarterets historie siden dengang Struensee blev lagt på hjul og stejle på Amerikavej - og find også ud af, hvorfor det hedder Amerikavej. Bing & Grøndal og Carlsbergs fabrikker voksede til, og Lenin boede et par måneder bag Vesterbrogade. Turen kommer omkring Tove Ditlevsens barndomsgade i Hedebygade, Folkets Hus og Enghaveparken, hvor der var asfaltbal i 60'erne.
Vi kigger op så skæbnen for Slagtergårdene og udsigten for Vesterbros fremtid som attraktivt boligområde.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
