Sangeren og sangskriveren fra Ulige numre har for længst sat sit spor på den danske musikscene som soloartist.
Carl Emil Petersen debuterede i 2017 med sit første soloalbum, Natradio. Klassikere som "Frit Land", "Halvnøgen" og "København" fik dermed et kuld stedsøskende, som drog ud til en voksende publikumskare. Dele af albummet blev indspillet i Los Angeles sammen med Sune Wagner.
Politikens musikanmelder Kim Skotte gav albummet fem hjerter og skrev blandt andet: "En ung mand har forladt sit band og sejler romantisk sin egen sø. Uden fast havn driver han nu rundt i en tilstand, som er nogenlunde lige betuttet, beslutsom og euforisk. Ikke noget dårligt sted at befinde sig for en sangskriver, der er lige så ung, som han er gammelklog. En rastløs romantiker med begge ben på jordens gyngende grund." Læs hele anmeldelsen.
Carl Emil havde i 2018 et af sine mest travle år med et væld af solokoncerter og han mestrer formatet til fulde. I 2019 holder han kadencen med udgivelsen af et ny album.
