Description

»Colin Stetson is a musical genius«.

In English:

Colin Stetson

Virtuoso saxophonist Colin Stetson has collaborated with everyone from Arcade Fire and Bon Iver to Laurie Anderson and Tom Waits, but it’s the exhilarating music he makes under his own name that really takes the breath away. Hailed by The New York Times as ‘a one-man astonishment engine’, Stetson blends wild creativity with jaw-dropping technique into a muscular sound with equal echoes of post-rock, jazz, minimalism and electronica. Having recently put out the new album “All This I Do for Glory” (52Hz, 2018), Stetson is ready to take over ALICE with his grandiose bass saxophone.

Eli Keszler

Drumming wizard, composer and installation artist Eli Keszler twists and amplifies the acoustic to make sure that conventional experiences of architectural space are severely challenged. An avantgarde-jazz enthusiast, the eclectic Keszler has collaborated with names such as Tony Conrad, Phill Niblock and Joe McPhee.
