Equinox Kammermusikfestival præsenterer NO-MAN’S LAND – en aften af mesterværker fra udelukkende kvindelige komponister. Programmet består af fantastisk musik af de nulevende komponister Holly Harrison og Bushra El-Turk, 1900-tallets mester Grazyna Bacewicz, såvel som Louise Farrencs Nonet, et banebrydende mesterværk da det havde premiere i 1849, og som i dag igen er på vej til at blive betragtet som en hjørnesten i repertoiret.
Aftenen byder derudover på et nyt danseværk til Bushra El-Turks hårdtrammende stykke Saffron Dusk, skabt specielt til aftenen af koreografer Elenora Morris og Samuel Rees i et særligt samarbejde med komponisten og musikerensemblet.
Equinox er en kammermusik- og dansefestival, der hvert år samler venner og kunstnere af højeste kaliber fra hele verden til én uges koncerter i København. Programmet er sammensat af mindre kendte, genopdagede og nyskrevede mesterværker, såvel som nykoreograferede danseværker skabt specielt til festivalen.

Equinox Chamber Music Festival presents NO-MAN’S LAND – an evening of masterpieces from exclusively female composers. The programme includes stunning works by living composers Holly Harrison and Bushra El-Turk, the 20th-century master Grazyna Bacewicz, as well as Louise Farrenc’s Nonet, a groundbreaking masterpiece when first premiered in 1849, and which today again is becoming recognised as a true cornerstone of the classical repertoire.
The evening includes a new dance work to Bushra El-Turk’s viscerally poignant Saffron Dusk, created especially for the festival by choreographers Elenora Morris and Samuel Rees, in a special collaboration with the composer and ensemble.
Equinox is a chamber music and dance festival which brings together friends and artists of the highest calibre from around the world for one week of concerts in Copenhagen every summer. The programme is full of lesser-known, rediscovered and newly written masterpieces, as well as newly choreographed dance pieces created especially for the festival.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
