Bliv blæst bagover af polyrytmer og eksperimenterende beats, når vi åbner dørene til vores åbningsfest, med en vibrerende film om den afro-portugisiske musikscene og efterfølgende DJ-set af DJ Nigga Fox. Vi sparker traditionen tro årets festival i gang med vores åbningsfest på Charlottenborg og i år har vi inviteret DJ Nigga Fox, en af de mest prominente skikkelser indenfor den karakteristiske og hyperkinetiske afro-portugisiske lyd, batida, til pulten for at sætte gang i dansegulvet.
OM FILMEN
Tag på en vibrerende og rytmisk rejse gennem Lissabons forstæder, hvor kolonitiden har sat sit tunge præg. Her møder vi den innovative afro-portugisiske musikscene, hvor unge som gamle, med hver deres baggrund, kæmper med visum, opholdstilladelse og accept. Men i gaderne vokser musikken. Her tager de ældre musikere traditionelle afrikanske instrumenter i brug, og de unge producere og DJ’s skaber deres helt særegne hyperkinetiske og dansable lyd, som får dem fra gadefesterne i forstæderne til klubber verden rundt. Gennem ‘Lisbon Beat’ tegnes et energisk portræt af en by, med dens kultur og politiske problemer, samtidig med at der bliver kastet lys på, hvor vigtig musik kan være for identitet og fællesskab.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?
The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. To get in touch with the event organiser, simply reply to your order confirmation email or use the "Contact organiser" form on the organiser's profile. For more help with this, read here.

I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?
If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.
