Description
International stil, jetset liv og Københavns første ’skyskraber’. Det er SAS Royal Hotel. Bygget i en tid, hvor James Bond hed Sean Connery, og bilen var en Citroën DS. Hotellet emmer stadig af elegance og stil, og af Arne Jacobsen. Hver torsdag besøger vi SAS Royal Hotel, og du kan komme med.
SAS Royal Hotel (i dag Radisson Collection Royal Hotel) var et hovedværk for Arne Jacobsen, og det er en milepæl i dansk arkitektur. På alle måder et signaturbyggeri, hvor al Arne Jacobsens kreativitet og innovation kondenseres ind i et værk. Fra lille skala til stor skala. Fra bestik til bygning.
Ifm. DACs udstilling SAS Royal Hotel. En kærlighedshistorie, har vi indledt et eksklusivt samarbejde med Radisson Collection Royal Hotel. Det betyder, at vi i udstillingsperioden hver torsdag kan invitere indenfor i både vores udstilling i DAC, og i Radisson Collection Royal Hotel, hvor vi får mulighed for at opleve Room 606, der står som det stod tilbage i 1960, da hotellet kunne slå dørene op for det måbende publikum.
Turen begynder i DAC med en introduktion til udstillingen, der vises i DACs Welcome område. Efter en 15 minutters introduktion, fortsætter vi sammen de omkring 1,5 km. op til hotellet i Hammerichsgade. I lobbyen bliver vi taget i mod af en af hotellets ansatte, der vil tage os med bag facaden på hotellet i dag, men også fortælle historien om, da hotellet fungerede som det første stop på flyrejsen ud i den store verden.
Praktisk
- Når vi besøger Room 606 må vi gerne tage billeder til privat brug. Bliver billederne lagt på de sociale medier skal de tagges #radissoncollectioncopenhagen.
- Radisson Collection Royal Hotel er stadig et internationalt hotel med et internationalt personale. Derfor vil turen foregå både på dansk og på engelsk.
- Turbilletten giver gratis adgang til DAC på dagen for turen, og 24 timer frem fra din turbillet er blevet scannet ind i DACs billetsalg
- Husk, at vi har åbent til kl. 21 om torsdagen.
- Turen begynder og ender i Dansk Arkitektur Center. Vi mødes i Welcome området, hvor jeres guide vil stå klar.
- Børn under 18 år kommer gratis med på turen i følge med en voksen. Maks. to børn per betalende voksen. Børn skal have egen billet.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?
The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
