D.4 Juli medvirker Steen Jørgensen, Mette Lindberg og Anna Brønsted som gæstesolister.
Denne aften præsenterer hun sange fra to særlige udgivelser.
Første sæt opføres sangene fra Nicolai Munch-Hansen og Peter Laugesens værk. "Det flimrende lys over Brabrand sø". Nicolai gik bort kort tid efter udgivelsen af pladen og nåede aldrig selv at optræde med hans kompositioner, men Kira og de ovennævnte solister har opført sangene ved enkelte lejligheder efterfølgende, som en hyldest til dette smukke værk og for at mindes Nicolai.
Andet sæt er med en række af duetterne fra pladen Spirit tree som udkom i 2021.
Da corona ramte hele verden og alle i isolation, følte Kira Skov trang til at række ud med sin musik. Mod musikere og sangere, hun enten har arbejdet sammen med, kendte eller beundrede. For sammen med dem at skabe mening i en ellers meningsløs tid trods lang distance.
