Om filmen:
Den afdøde forfatter Jakob Ejersbos to bedste venner kæmper sig op mod toppen af Kilimanjaro for at sige endeligt farvel og i al hemmelighed opfylde Ejersbos ønske om at få spredt sin aske netop dér. Undervejs fortæller filmen gennem venner, familie og kollegaer om den målrettede, ekstraordinære og gådefulde forfatters ellers ret private liv, og om hvordan Ejersbo ovenpå gennembrudsromanen "Nordkraft" med døden i hælene ofrede alt andet for at nå at færdiggøre sit hovedværk "Afrika-trilogien".
Om instruktøren:
Christian Holten Bonke har en baggrund som multimediedesigner og i 2005 dimitterede han som filminstruktør fra Den Danske Filmskole. Christians værker er karakteriseret ved at han fra en baggrund i musikerbranchen anvender sin musikalske følsomhed og viden om rytme og stemning i sine filmiske værker. Et tilbagevendende tema i Bonkes film, uanset formen, er fascinationen af mennesker, der inderligt brænder for en idé. Hans film er meget personlige portrætter, og han sætter altid det menneskelige aspekt i spidsen.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
