Musikken klassificeres under den brede betegnelse ”jazz” men indeholder også elementer af blues og country. Kvartetten spiller fortrinsvis egne numre med tekster, man kan forholde sig til, og melodier der fænger.
Kvartettens seneste single ”Eatin’ Crow” (der er udgivet elektonisk og på vinyl) fik følgende skudsmål i ”Jazz Nyt” af Niels Overgård: ”Singlen indeholder et uptempo nummer, Eatin’ Crow (and drinkin' Thunderbird) og en ballade Just a Lonesome Cowboy. De to numre mere end antyder, at Doctor Django and his Nurses ikke kun er et sjovt påhit, men også en kvartet med noget på hjerte. En dejligt underholdende single.”
Originaliteten og det nyskabende vejer tungt i kvartettens bagage. Django selv boede i New Orleans, imens orkanen Katrina rasede over byen tilbage i august 2005, så han har oplevet sydstatskulturen på nærmeste hold og suget til sig af dens musikalske smeltedigel.
Til sommer går turen sydpå for Doctor Django and his Nurses med optrædener på festivaler og spillesteder i Frankrig. Koncerten på Bartof Station er derfor en kærkommen lejlighed til at høre kvartetten på dansk grund.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
