Historien
Sangeren og sangskriveren Stig Skovlind mødte den cubanske pianist Julio Cesar Jimenez i Havana i 1999, et nært venskab opstod. Efterfølgende indspillede de sammen albummet ‘Breaking news from the Coffeeshop’ i København. Nu - 20 år efter vender Julio tilbage og det bliver fejret med en helt unik intimkoncert på Stig’s stamcafe i Helsingør - Cafe Chaplin.
Musikken og fortællingerne
Julio og Stig’s fælles historie binder aftenen sammen som ellers bliver baseret på Stig’s danske sange og hans to faste og super talentfulde musikere, sangerinden og pianisten Claudia Campagnol og guitaristen Nicolai Levring. Begge optræder til daglig i Stig’s store orkester Kaffeorkestret. Stig's gode ven filminstruktør Jørn Faurschou bidrager til showet med anekdoter fra Stig og Jørn's fælles rejser i Cuba.
Det bliver i sandhed ‘Danske sange fra hele verden’ med særlig vægt på den cubanske troldmand og humørspreder. Det bliver en total musikalsk oplevelse du ikke vil gå glip af.
Romsmagning
Claus Nissen fra Prøvestenens vinhandel introducerer dig til rommens verden, med 3 forskellige rom, der er selvfølgelig en fra Cuba, derefter serveres en Cuba Libre.
