Denne aften hyldes to af jazzhistoriens helt store stjerner, Ella Fitzgerald og Louis Armstrong, når Sasha Masakowski fra New Orleans møder danmark bedste mandlige sanger, Bobo Moreno. Repertoiret er fortrinsvis taget fra de tre legendariske “Ella & Louis” albums, men der bliver også plads til andre af jazzens klassikere sunget af de to kunstnere. Ud af vendt stor-swingende jazz af højeste kvalitet til hjertet og dansegulvet.
Siden slutningen af 1980’erne, har Bobo Moreno sunget sig længere og længere ind i hjerterne på musikelskere i hele landet. Moreno er nemlig først og fremmest kendt som sanger med stort S, og det som en af Danmarks bedste! For dét der har gjort det lidt pudsige navn Bobo Moreno verdensberømt i Danmark, er ganske enkelt evnen til at begejstre et hvilket som helst publikum med sin alsidige stemme. Gennem årene har han arbejdet med de største navne herhjemme, fra Sanne og D:A:D, til Radioens Big Band og Birthe Kjær. Også mange TV-optrædener er det blevet til, med medvirken i en bred vifte af musik- og underholdningsshows.
Sasha Masakowski blev født ind i en familie af musikere i New Orleans, Louisiana og har været en førende stemme på New Orleans musikscene siden 2009, hvor hun blev tildelt "Best Emerging Artist" af Big Easy Association. Hun har siden optrådt i store klubber og festivaler i hele USA og i udlandet, og leder tre band, der spænder fra traditionel New Orleans jazz (Sidewalk Strutters) til moderne jazz og verdensmusik (Musical Playground) til eksperimenterende elektronisk kunst-rock (Hildegard, Tra$h Magnolia).
