Foredrag om medicinsk cannabis
Pris: 175 DKK
Canna Academy byder velkommen til en række foredrag om medicinsk cannabis, hvor det første bliver afholdt d. 1 april 2020. Foredraget er målrettet patienter og pårørende som ønsker at vide mere om medicinsk cannabis.
Foredraget foregår på Gymnasievej 5 i Stenløse og vil blive afholdt af Cand Merc MIB Jonas Østergaard. Der er gratis parkering og der vil være kaffe og kage i pausen. Arrangementet tager cirka 3 timer, hvor der vil være 2 * 1 times foredrag med 20 min pause imellem. Til sidst vil der være mulighed for at stille spørgsmål i 30 min.
Om Foredragsholderen
Jonas Østergaard har afholdt en lang række foredrag om medicinsk cannabis rundt omkring i landet og har godt styr på sit materiale. Jonas rejse frem til hans store viden om Cannabis startede, da han skrev om teknologi, medicin og patienter i hans Cand Merc MIB på Universitetet og i forbindelse med at hans ven døde af sygdommen Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Jonas har efterfølgende arbejdet med patienter i flere år og i de seneste år, har han fokuseret på cannabis til medicinsk brug. Han har skrevet den uundværlige bog "Medicinplanten", som giver et dybtgående indblik i hvad Cannabisplanten kan gøre for os, og hvad den allerede er blevet brugt til op igennem tiden.
Jonas Østergaard skærer ind til benet og stiller kritiske spørgsmål til hvorfor vi i Danmark har forbud mod cannabis som medicin – han siger blandt andet:
”Cannabis har været anvendt af mennesker i årtusinder. Der findes næppe nogen plante på Jorden der har været så meget igennem, og som har så spændende en historie, og som på så mange måder er vigtig for os mennesker og dyr, som cannabisplanten. Cannabis i forarbejdet form har vist sig at være et effektivt og sikkert middel til behandling af smerter, kvalme, krampeanfald og inflammation hos mennesker med en række forskellige sygdomme.” (Citat: Jonas Østergaard)
