Fire exceptionelle novemberdage: KoncertKirken præsenterer Eriko Makimuras program FRÅDSERI, udviklet specielt til KoncertKirken sammen med Willie Flindt.
Den prisbelønnede, japanske klassiske pianist Eriko Makimura har de seneste år sammensat koncerter med De Syv Dødssynder som omdrejningspunkt i sin dramatiske og unikt eksperimenternde tilgang til det klassiske koncertformat. Makimura spiller bl.a. Chopin, Stravinsky samt John Cage’s Living Room Music sammen med de indbudte gæster og med-iscenesættere: sanger og komponist Marie Fisker, danser og performancekunstner Nana Fransisca Scottländer samt forfatter og kunstner Sigrún Gudbrandsdóttir. Alle deltager desuden med egne værker skabt specielt til forestillingen.
Frådseri som grundpræmis?
Religioner har beskrevet frådseri som særlig farlig for menneskets åndelighed, som i myten om hungry ghosts, en tilstand af evig fortæren. I forestillingen undersøges begrebets plads i den moderne bevidsthed. Er vores brug-og smid-væk tilgang til det materielle, til jorden og til andres liv i virkeligheden Frådseri i ny forvrænget forklædning?
Fem musikstykker, der i sig selv er fortærende, bindes sammen af nonsens ritualer og åbne udsagn. Som sætningen af Gertrude Stein: ¨Once upon a time the world was round and you could go on it around and around¨ fra Living Room Music.
Og bag Stravinskys Rite of Spring ligger en fortælling, der opridser det ultimative frådseri: Ofringen af andres liv for egen ideologi.
Kom og oplev en særegen scenekunstner, som bryder genrer med sine samarbejder og løfter det klassiske koncertformat, så det får karakter af performanceværk.
