Den tyrkiske musiker Fuat Talay dyrker et musikalsk crossoverlandskab, hvor den anatolske folkemusik bl.a. krydres med sufi- og alevimusik. Det er musik, hvor de traditionelle toner og melodier fra forskellige etniske instrumenter blandes med elektronisk musik og en blød, lækker lyd smyger sig om lytteren. Denne aften præsenterer Fuat Talay også projektet Sufisticated hvor han sammen med Mads 'Mashti' Norheim udforsker krydsfeltet mellem elektronisk og traditionel akustisk musik.

Igen i år fyrer vi op under gløderne og krydrer bøffen med spicy rytmer under Copenhagen Jazz Festival. Men som noget nyt flytter World Jazz n' Grill i år fra VerdensKulturCentret til Kulturhuset Indre By, hvor du hver aften fra den 9.–14. juli kan nyde lækker grillmad og høre globale rytmer. Der kan købes mad fra kl. 17.00 og aftenens koncert begynder kl. 19.00.
Koncertbilletter koster 70 kr. i forsalg og 90 kr. i døren.

The Turkish musician Fuat Talay cultivates a musical crossover landscape where the Anatolian folk among others Season with converts and Sufi and alevimusik . It is music where traditional melodies from various ethnic instruments mixed with electronic music and a soft, smooth sound clings to the listener. This evening, Fuat Talay also presents the project Sufisticated, where he explores the intersection of electronic and traditional acoustic music.
World Jazz n' Grill at Kulturhuset Indre By
Again this year we light up the BBQ and season the steak with spicy rhythms during the Copenhagen Jazz Festival. But this year, World Jazz n 'Grill moves from Nørrebro to Kulturhuset Indre By, where you cane enjoy deliciuos barbeque and hear global rythms every night from 9th to 14th of July. Food can be purchased from at 5pm and the concert begins at 7pm.
Concert tickets cost 70 kr. in presale and 90 kr in the door.
