Gilgamesh - en forestilling af Hotel Pro Forma
Der er tyranni, eventyr, kærlighed, sorg og jagten efter udødelighed på programmet, når Hotel Pro Forma fortæller verdens ældste historie, Gilgamesh, i ord og musik på Glyptoteket. Forestillingen er en musikalsk vandring med tableauer skabt til de 15 udstillingssale omkring festsalen i Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek.
Det klassiske epos om Kong Gilgamesh blev nedskrevet med kileskrift i lertavler for 4.000 år siden i oldtidens Mesopotamien. Siden har fortællingen som en litterær ildkugle brændt sig vej gennem verdenshistorien.
Nu har digter Morten Søndergaard gendigtet fortællingen på dansk i samarbejde med assyriolog og Ph.d.-stipendiat Sophus Helle, hvis nyoversættelse udgives af forlaget Gyldendal samtidigt med forestillingens premiere.

Om Hotel Pro Forma
Efter en årrække med høj international aktivitet er Hotel Pro Forma nu både tilbage på dansk grund og på Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek. Netop på Glyptoteket har Kirsten Dehlholm tidligere, i perioden 1978-92, skabt fem legendariske performanceforestillinger.
Gilgamesh er første del af Hotel Pro Formas store underverdenstrilogi. Med afsæt i oldtidens ur-fortællinger om underverdenen skaber Kirsten Dehlholm og Hotel Pro Forma, hen over de næste tre sæsoner, en trilogi af forestillinger: Gilgamesh, Amduat og Operation: Orfeo.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
