GRØNLANDSKE KORTFILMPERLER - med instruktørbesøg
Poetisk dokumentarisme, skæv komik og sci-fi fra Nuuk. Se fire af tidens bedste kortfilm og mød filmskaberne Nivi Pedersen, Aka Hansen, Pipaluk K. Jørgensen og Emile Hertling Péronard.
Nivi Pedersen dokumentarkortfilm Snow giver en poetisk skildring af den altid tilbagevendende sne og de lige så tilbagevendende hverdagsrutiner, som den skaber. Aka Hansen har i en anden grøft skabt en science-fiction fortælling fra Nuuk i Polar, som hun pt. arbejder på at udvikle til en tv-serie. I den komiske ende af spektret ligger så Klaus Geislers kortfilm Anuman, om en ener, der prøver at finde fodfæste i omgivelserne.
Afslutningsvis vises den lige så tankevækkende som smukke og prisvindende kortfilm The Last Walk af instruktørerne Mikisoq H. Lynge og Pipaluk K. Jørgensen. Sidstnævnte repræsenterer også sammen med Emile Hertling Péronard brancheorganisation FILM.GL, og de drøfter den aktuelle udvikling i grønlandsk film.
Arrangementet
Filmene vises med engelske undertekster. Arrangementet inkluderer oplæg og samtaler og varer i alt ca. 100 minutter. Dørene og filmcaféen åbner 45 minutter før visningerne.

Nordatlantiske Filmdage 2018
1.-8. marts præsenterer Nordatlantiske Filmdage unikke filmoplevelser fra Færøerne, Grønland og Island, tilsat oplæg, instruktørbesøg og debat. Nordatlantiske Filmdage 2018 er støttet af Det Danske Filminstitut, Islands Ambassade i København og Nordens Institut i Grønland (NAPA) og præsenteres af Nordatlantens Brygge i samarbejde med FILM.GL, Tórshavn Film Festival, Islands Filmarkiv og Icelandic Film Centre.
