Noisey, ICO og Pumpehuset præsenterer den tyske rapper GZUZ.
Den tyske rapper Gzuz er flagskibet for tysk hiphop og fik for alvor sat sit navn på verdenskortet, da den hårde video til ”Was Hast du Gedacht” gik viralt i hele verden. Til foråret får Danmark besøg af den hårdkogte rapper fra Hamborg for første gang, når han indtager Pumpehuset fredag 26. april.
I 2018 fik hele verden øjnene op for tyske Gzuz, da YouTube-kanalen WORLDSTARHIPHOP samlede musikvideoen til singlen ”Was Hast Du Gedacht” op. Videoen, der meget billedligt portrætterer Gzuz’ crew 187 Strassenbande og det hårde gademiljø i Hamborg, røg hurtigt i streamingtjenestens top 5 i USA - og gik viralt blandt hip hop-entusiaster og musikmedier i hele verden. Hypen i udlandet fortsatte, da musikvideoen til ”Warum” udkom - denne er nemlig optaget i Compton iblandt bydelens hårdkogte gangstere.
Hjemme i Tyskland var Gzuz dog i forvejen en af tysk hiphops helt store frontfigurer, hvor han spiller udsolgte arenashows og kan melde udsolgt af sine LP’er allerede ved forudbestillingerne. Herhjemme har hiphop-Danmark også fået øjnene op for Gzuz, hvor rapper og selverklæret ekspert i tysk hiphop, Pede B, blandt andet har udtalt:
”Det er pistolrap på den mest fladpandede og fantastiske måde, og GZUZ’ vers er legendarisk!” – Pede B anbefaler, Soundvenue.
Netop pistoler og andre realistiske effekter fra gaden dominerer Gzuz’ stil i både lyd og visualitet, og han er ikke bleg for skrue op for netop det fantastiske og fladpandede, når han optræder live. The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
