Description
"Happiness is a warm gun" er først og fremmest en fortælling om kærlighed. Om den pæne universitetspige Lucy fra New Jersey, der møder arbejderdrengen Jude fra Liverpool, og begge forelsker de sig.
Men det er også et tidsbillede af en turbulent tid i 1960'ernes USA, hvor modstanden mod amerikansk engagement i Vietnamkrigen vokser, og hvor sex, drugs and rock'n'roll er med til at præge de unges liv. Noget som også Lucy og Jude både bliver en del af og udfordres af, mens Lucys bror, Max, mærker krigens omkostninger på egen krop.
Årets musical på Gladsaxe Gymnasium er fyldt med al den bedste Beatles' musik. Til tonerne af blandt andet Hey Jude, Strawberry Fields Forever og Come Together, kan du opleve en forestilling, hvor op mod 100 elever på GG - på scenen såvel som bagved - har knoklet for at få en fantastisk sjov, rørende og ikke mindst flot forestilling på benene.
