Hør foredrag ved islandske Guðrún Bjarnadóttir, der fortæller om sin vej fra at være tv-producer til at blive ejer af garnfarvningsværksted.
Islandske Guðrún Bjarnadóttir er uddannet biolog og ejer garnfarvningsværkstedet "Hespuhuset" i Sydisland. Her farver hun islandsk uld med islandske urter efter gamle naturteknikker, og modtager årligt tusindevis af garnentusiaster fra hele kloden, der nyder et unikt besøg i Islands natur, hvor fåreavl og glæden ved strik går hånd i hånd.
I dette foredrag fortæller Guðrún om, hvordan hobbyen pludselig overtog alt: Om vejen fra et job som TV-producer til virksomhedsejer med alt hvad det indebærer af udfordringer, muligheder, tilfældigheder, et ikke-eksisterende privatliv og store fremtidsdrømme.
Hun causerer også over synet på "kvindesysler", om midaldrende mænds "man-splaining", samt værdisættelse af og respekten for håndværket samt kvinders tid.
