Kom og hør forfatter og foredragsholder Maj My Humaidan fortælle om sit familieliv og sin egen udvikling de seneste 10 år, fra hun og hendes mand, musiker Kristian Humaidan, flyttede med deres fire børn til Ærø, begyndte at hjemmepasse og hjemmeskole og frem til i dag, hvor børnene går i skole, men stadig har hyppige fridage og familien i det hele taget insisterer på selv at være medskabere af deres hverdag.
Den 14. april udkommer Maj Mys bog “Ærø Manifestet - om længslen efter et andet familieliv” på forlaget Gyldendal, og i den forbindelse kommer hun til Aarhus, og holder sit nye foredrag om at forholde sig vågent til fortællingerne om, hvordan vi bør leve vores liv.
Undervejs i foredraget kommer Maj My ærligt og med humor omkring temaer som:
normkritik og samfundsfortællinger, barndommens muligheder, længslen efter lykke, udmattelse, ensomhed, skolevægring og hvad man kan stille op, hvis man ikke passer ind i de kasser, som samfundet har stillet frem.
Foredraget varer en time efterfulgt af 45 minutters spørgetid.
