Description

Pavlovskis Balalajkaorkester m gæstesolister
samler ind til Røde Kors “Ukrainehjælpen" i Odd Fellow Palæets gamle koncertsal.

Med bl.a.: Niels Jørgen Riis; tenor (DK) - Valerij Lichatjev; baryton (RU) - Tetiana Hordiichuk; bandura (UA) - og mange flere.

Oplev orkestrets dirigent Jesper Lund Jakobsen, det symfonisk opbyggede balalajkaorkester med 25 danske musikere og en udsøgt skare solister, bl.a.

den ukrainske Tetiana Hordiichuk solo på folkeinstrumentet Bandura.

Der optrædes med sange og melodier, som tilsammen skildrer, hvordan folkeslag og kulturer samles i musikalske udtryk. Publikum vil blive bragt igennem en fortælling om helte, landskaber, faldbydere, platugler, tro, håb, lykke og fortvivlelse, og om hvorfor den gamle øst-slaviske musik og litteratur ikke ejes af despoter.

Orkestret sætter - på 2 årsdagen for den ulykkelige invasion af Ukraine - fokus på at alle mennesker bør have ret til deres eget land og vil med en farverig koncert insistere på håbet om fred.

Baggrund: Den sibiriskfødte Evgeni Pavlovski flygtede fra Sovjets rædsler og stiftede i Danmark i 1936 Pavlovskis Balalajkaorkester - en frugtbar blanding af menneskeånd og folkesjæl, som trods krig og revolution insisterede på, at musik hæver sig langt over politisk magthaveri.

Symfonisk opbygget balalajkaorkester grundlagt i 1936 af en ung russisk flygtning, Evgenij Pavlovski, i dag ledet af Jesper Lund Jakobsen og Andy Sundstrøm.
