Jo Jacobsen – Carlsbergfruen der gik sin egne veje
Et underholdende foredrag om en farverig kvinde, Jo Jacobsen (1884-1963), der forlod sit ægteskab på Carlsberg for at leve som frigjort kvinde. Hun skrev skandaleromaner. Hun kæmpede for enlige mødres rettigheder og retten til fri abort. Hun var en af de første kvinder, der bragte psykoanalysen til Danmark. Jo Jacobsen var kort sagt en pioner, der gik forrest i tidens kamp for Freud, seksuelt frisind og enlige mødre. Hun gik sine egne veje og ramlede sammen med Thit Jensen, K.K. Steincke, Tom Kristensen, Freud-familien og andre af tidens store kulturpersonligheder. Hendes historie har hidtil været ufortalt, men nu bliver der bragt lys over en af mellemkrigstidens mest omtalte kvinder.
