Killtown Bookings and Pumpehuset presents the second edition of Kill-Town Death Fest’s “DECAY IN MAY” in Copenhagen!
The 2023 edition of “Decay in May” will be a one-day event showcasing 6 Scandinavian death metal bands from the Killtown Bookings roster and beyond. We have handpicked a fine selection of what we think are some of the best contemporary Scandinavian death metal bands for your listening pleasure.

Ghastly is a Finnish death metal band formed in 2011. Their trademarks are harsh riffs combined with atmospheric melodies and surreal lyrics. They draw inspiration from sources such as psychedelic rock and horror movies.

Hailing from South-Western Finland, this death metal onslaught started out in 2013. Their sound is a mix of blast beats, guts twisting bass patterns, ears mutilating guitar riffs, roaring vocals and breathtaking arbitrary melodies. A fine marriage of death metal and grindcore it is!

Discipel is a proto death metal outfit hailing from Copenhagen, Denmark. They'll play blackened death metal in the vein of early South American and North American bands from late 80´ies with a raw unpolished sound of the olden days. Discipel consist of members bands such as Ascendency, Lesion, Phrenelith, Gabestok, Fanebærer, Jordsleåt and Guldsjakal.
