Tag med en af Skandinaviens mest markante pianister, Katrine Gislinge, på en musikalsk rejse til Anton Melbyes Paris i midten af 1800-tallet, når hun spiller klaverkoncert på Den Hirschsprungske Samling.
Katrine Gislinge har spillet både solo- og kammermusikkoncerter over det meste af Europa. Hun har arbejdet med dirigenter og musikere som Gustavo Dudamel, Kurt Sanderling, Andreas Brantelid og Gidon Kremer, og hun er medlem af Den Danske Klavertrio. Hun var den første danske pianist, der indspillede for Deutsche Grammophon, og komponister som Per Nørgård og Bent Sørensen har dedikeret værker til hende. Katrine Gislinge vil for mange være kendt fra to af DR’s store klassiske satsninger, hvor hun optrådte som deltager i henholdsvis ”Den klassiske musikquiz” og som læremester i ”Vidunderbørn”.
Anton Melbye boede selv i Paris fra 1848-1857, og var dybt betaget af byen og det kunstneriske miljø, som også vil kunne ses i flere af hans værker på den aktuelle udstilling Mod fjerne horisonter. Anton Melbye 200 år.

Museet ligger i smukke grønne omgivelser i Østre Anlæg og rummer tobaksfabrikant Heinrich Hirschsprungs fine samling af dansk kunst fra 1800-tallet.
Åbent: ons-søn kl. 10-17. Entré: 110 kr. 1 voksen + 1 barn: 100 kr. Unge under 26 år: 80 kr. Børn og unge under 18 år: gratis.
