Byens bedste klezmer-fest! Klezmofobia er kendte for deres fantastiske koncerter og har flere gange fyldt Global. Nu rammer de ALICE med deres fandenivoldske blanding af klezmer, østeuropæisk roots og flabet surf.
Bandet Klezmofobia brød igennem med deres første album “Tanz!” (2006). Pladen banede vej for masser af koncerter og modtog store kritikerroser, ligesom den indbragte dem en DMA for årets world-album. Opfølgeren fik titlen “Ganze Velt”, hvilket var ganske passende, da bandet efterhånden har indtaget hele verden med deres varmblodede udtryk.
Herhjemme er de også kendte som et særdeles medrivende live-navn, hvilket de bl.a. demonstrerede for nylig til CPH World Music Festival. De har ligeledes indtaget Nørre Allé 7 i flere omgange og leveret legendariske og udsolgte koncerter på Global, hvorfor der er god grund til at sætte forventningerne højt, når de gæster ALICE 1. december.
Klezmofobia tager, som navnet siger, sit udgangspunkt i den østeuropæiske jødiske folkemusik klezmer. Bandet er desuden under indflydelse af russisk folkemusik, punk, rock, pop, surf og mariachi. Der bliver sunget på det jødiske ghetto-sprog yiddish og publikum inviteres altid til at synge med – og ikke mindst danse. Bandet formår i sjælden grad at gøre den traditionelle klezmer relevant i samtiden ved at være tro mod både det feststemte og melankolske i klezmer-traditionen uden at fryse fast i klicheer. I sangerinde Channe Nussbaum har de samtidig en frontfigur, der formår at være en solid indpisker til koncerterne, samtidig med at hun troner som en ægte klezmer-diva.

Widely renowned for their sparkling and progressive take on the klezmer tradition, Klezmofobia always manage to engage audiences in Denmark as well as internationally. With Channe Nussbaum in front the band has a true klezmer diva with a wonderful charisma and power - a power which is supported by a band that don’t shy away from mixing klezmer with dirty rock’n’roll, surf, mariachi and nordic folk. Last time the band visited Nørre Allé 7 they played a sold out show. Expect a wild klezmer party when the band returns in December!

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
