After the succesful event with Suicide Commando + Bionic Bitch is
Club Braincorp. ready with an another great event for you, this time we are
proud to present one of Leæther Strip´s 30th year anniversary shows, as
we wants the best for Leæther Strip, we have invited him to play the
anniversary show at the great venue Salen.
Beside that we have invited the Swedish Synth/EBM duo Cryo as
very special guests to Leæther Strip. There´s no doubt that it will
be a great combo with these 2 acts live on stage the same evening.
Leæther Strip:
Leæther Strip a.k.a Claus Larsen was formed in 1989 and afterwards Leæther Strip got signed to the famous label Zoth Ommog were he released his first 12inch Vinyl "Japanese Bodies". The debut album "Pleasure Of Penetration" was released in 1989.
Leæther Strip got established really fast as one of the biggest Industrial/EBM acts in the world after he released the masterpiece and second album "Solitary Confinement" in 1992.
Leæther Strip has through his 30 years released a lot of remarkable albums and great club hits. His
anniversary shows will mark his 30 years of existence as Leæther Strip. Leæther Strip created
the Dark EBM/Electro which have influenced a lot bands through the decades.
Leæther Strip will soon release a new album called "World Molæster".
We look forward to have Leæther Strip back in Copenhagen!
Cryo:
Hailing from Gothenburg and Malmö comes the duo Cryo who consists of the singer Martin and the keyboard player/singer Torny. Cryo was formed in the beginning of the year 2000 and has through the years released 4 albums on the high quality label Progress Productions (also the home of Kite, Henric De La Cour, Agent Side Grinder, Necro Facility, Lucifer Aid ect.)
Cryo has a some influences from bands like Front 242, Jean Michel Jarre, Die Krupps, but has creat their own unique style. Through the years they made some stunning club hits like "The Pain", "Hit Me Once", "In Your Eyes". Cryo released a new EP a couple of months ago called "Control" include remixes by Mind In A Box, Assemblage 23, Iambia, Xenturion Prime. An EP that shows the Cryo is still one of the best Synth/EBM acts from Sweden.
