"Mikkel og den hvide verden"
Denne aften tager Mikkel Beha os med ud på en rejse op langs Norges kyst, med kurs mod polarisen og øgruppen Svalbard.
I mange år har familien drømt om at sætte kursen mod nord. Efter års forberedelse med at klargøre deres nye ekspeditionsskib, Wallenberg, har de nu igen kastet fortøjningerne og er taget ud på eventyr. De har sat sig for at sejle så langt mod nord, som de kan. Derop hvor hvalerne i vintermørket kommer ind for at spise sig fede i sild, hvor efterårslavtrykkene viser tænder, og alle i familien bliver sat på prøve, når de skal dykke i iskoldt vand og lære at overleve i Finmarkens ekstreme kuldegrader.
Mikkel Beha vil tage os med på en rejse fra København og ud i vores storslåede nordiske natur, men også derop hvor klimaforandringerne ikke bare er ord i tykke rapporter, men barsk og synlig virkelighed hvor stigende temperaturer får isen til at smelte og vejret bliver mere og mere ekstremt.
Dette Mikkel Beha foredrag er både en rejse ind i eventyrets verden, men også en påmindelse til os alle om, at vi skal passe bedre på vores fælles klode.
