Alle fire søndage i advent holder Kulturtårnet radiobio i det gamle brotårn på Knippelsbro.
Anden søndag i advent kigger radio- og podcastproducenten Susanna Sommer forbi Kulturtårnet for at fortælle om sin radioserie Drømmenes Kaptajn.
Det er en syret samtalemosaik klippet sammen af gamle interviewklip med Troels Kløvedal, hvor han fortæller om 70’ernes udlængsel, kollektiver, ungdomsoprør og drømmene om et anderledes liv til søs, og Susannas egen barndomshistorie om opvæksten i et kedeligt parcelhuskvarter, hvor drømmene mest handlede om en ny kummefryser.
Tilsammen skaber de to parallelle fortællinger et skarptskåret billede af dilemmaerne og kontrasterne i 70’ernes Danmark, og serien undersøger, hvorfor vi har brug for drømmeventiler, der midt i den kværnende hverdag husker os på, at livet kan leves på mange forskellige måder.
Susanna Sommer tager udvalgte klip med og fortæller om tilblivelsen af radio-serien, som
fik prisen for årets bedste podcast ved Prix Radio i 2019.
