Rytmevæsenet rykker ind i Krudttønden for at undersøge om der skulle findes nogle nye og sjove rytmer og lyde, der kan bruges til musik.
De to dygtige Rytmologer Thomas Sandberg & Carl Quist-Møller kan finde rytmer, melodier og sjove sange alle vegne når de undersøger alt det de møder på deres vej.
Carl Quist-Møller har tegnet Jungledyret Hugo og er et multitalent som tegner, historiefortæller, musiker og skuespiller. Carl har lavet børnetv for DR samt skrevet og tegnet en bunke børnebøger samt tekster til teater og musik.
Thomas Sandberg er også et sandt multitalent med masser af priser og anmelderroser som musiker og komponist i alle genrer, skuespiller og klovn på paletten. Thomas har turneret over hele verden med sine populære soloshows og senest er Kina kommet med i rækken.
