Om Il Sogno Del Marinaio
Il Sogno Del Marinaio blev dannet i 2009 og udgøres af den amerikanske sanger og bassist Mike Watt samt de italienske Stefano Pilla og Andrea Belfi på henholdsvis guitar/vokal og trommer/vokal. Watt er med sin fortid i bands som Minutemen, Dos og Firehose et legendarisk navn inden for punk og alternativ rock, og det var dermed ikke for ingenting, at han blev indlemmet som bassist, da The Stooges blev gendannet i 2003 - en tjans, han fastholdt indtil gruppens opløsning i 2016. Ved siden af arbejdet som udøvende musiker stiftede Watt i 2001 pladeselskabet Clenchedwrench, og det er netop dette foretagende, der har udgivet Il Sogno Del Marinaios første to album - de roste "La Busta Gialla" (2013) og "Canto Secondo" (2014). Il Sogno Del Marinaio, der oversat til dansk betyder noget i retning af Sømandens Drøm, har i perioder turneret flittigt og var i 2013 inde over festivalen All Tomorrow's Parties.
