En sfærisk og spirituel musikoplevelse i selskab indonesiske Tarawangsawela, der har Rabih Beaini aka Morphosis med på scenen
I en lille håndfuld landsbyer i det sundanesiske Vestjava i Indonesien, er der opstået et spirituelt instrumentægteskab mellem den tostrengede, bueførte ‘tarawangsa’ og den sitar-lignende, syvstrengede ‘jentreng’. Tarawangsa-musikken er et bærende og altopslugende fundament for ældgamle, animistiske livscyklusceremonier, der knytter sig til frugtbarheden og høst.
Tarawangsawela fører Tarawangsa-musikken videre. Deres smukke album, ‘wanci’, udkom sidste år på Rabih Beainis udforskende Morphine-label. Rabih aka Morphosis har ikke kun produceret pladen, men står også for de forvridende elektroniske forløb på både plade og live på scenen. På den måde føres tilføres til spirituelle musiktradition nye elementer.
Det syvstrengede jentreng-instrumentets repetitive, vuggende basgange spinder et hypnotiserende, klangfuldt og dronet tonenet, der gradvist opbygges og eskaleres, alt imens den bueførte, tostrengede tarawangsas yndefulde og insisterende toner transcenderer den virkelige verden. Resultatet er en hjemsøgende og storladen minimalisme med en kompleksitet og lydmæssig fylde, som man absolut ikke ville forvente, at de blot to strenginstrumenter burde kunne fremmane.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
