En gang imellem sker det for os alle. Det hele ramler, og følelserne er så voldsomme, at vi farer vild i dem. I sådanne situationer er det uvurderligt at vide, hvad vi kan gøre – både for os selv og for andre. Yogatraditionens strategi går ud på at slutte fred med intensiteten. Det lyder jo meget fint, men hvad betyder det i praksis? Og hvad sker der, når idealerne møder virkeligheden, og yogien skal ”walk the talk”?
I tyve år har angst været en del af Simon Krohns liv. I dette underholdende foredrag fortæller han åbent om sine erfaringer med at bruge yogaens meditative teknikker til at være i stue med de voldsomme følelser – både når det lykkedes, og når det bestemt ikke lykkedes.
I løbet af foredraget vil Simon give smagsprøver på de teknikker, som har virket allerbedst for ham selv. Du behøver hverken døje med angst, dyrke yoga eller tro på reinkarnation for at få noget værdifuldt med hjem.
Om Simon Krohn
Simon Krohn (f. 1975) er uddannet yogalærer og har undervist i yoga og meditation i 20 år. Han blev som den første i landet certificeret på det højeste niveau inden for Yoga Alliance, og han er en af Skandinaviens mest efterspurgte yogalærere. Simon er cand.mag. i filosofi med fokus på indisk filosofi og studerede blandt andet et år på Banaras Hindu University i Indien. Desuden er han efteruddannet i kropsterapi og har deltaget i flere sundhedsvidenskabelige forskningsprojekter både som testperson og som konsulent.
