Københavnske Felines er ikke lige til at putte i en genrekasse, de er ikke bange for at hælde ud af alle deres mange inspirationskilder, ikke mindst ”no wave” genreren, der udspringer af post-punken, som spirede frem i New York sidst i 1970’erne. Her sammenfiltres elementer af funk, jazz, punkrock og andre avantgardistiske udtryk, drevet frem af repetitive rytmer, og altid med vægt på musikkens tekstur frem for gængse forestillinger om harmoni og melodi. At Felines rammer direkte ned i denne NY-nerve blev bekræftet af CBGB-stamgæst David Fricke (tidl. Rolling Stone Magazine), da han efter bandets optræden på årets SPOT-festival smilende konstaterede: ”It’s so New York”.
Til af få publikum i den rette stemning, har Felines inviteret Fabienne Erato.
Fabienne Erato er den danske filmtonemester og komponist Anne Gry Kristensen. Sit selvbetitlede debutalbum (Pomperipossa Records, 2018) har hun komponeret på en såkaldt Buchla Music Easel synthesizer. Et instrument, som hun nidkært inviterer lytteren på omvisning i og hvor resultatet er et støvet og perkussivt lydlandskab. Fabienne Erato har tidligere spillet support for svenske Anna Von Hausswolff på hendes Skandinavien-turné.

Felines is a band out of Copenhagen, with Ditte Melgaard on guitar, Mei-Long Bao on drums, Asta Louisa Bjerre on bass and Kristian Bønløkke on synth. They play lo-fi, hi-hopes pop songs with a laid-back charm and seemingly effortless ease. Their sweet-talking, experimental-emotional CPH blues has a sound that lands somewhere between ESG, The Breeders and Delta 5, but with a sense of flow and fun which is all their own.

Velkommen til Onkel Dannys Plads, som ligger i hjertet af Vesterbro kun 5 min fra Hovedbanegården. Onkel Dannys Plads er placeret i Den Brune Kødby, som del af de fine gamle bygninger, der opstod i slutningen af 1800-tallet, da byens slagtere skulle have et nyt slagteområde under hensyn til et stærk stigende befolkningstal og øget bevidsthed om hygiejne.
I dag er Onkel Dannys Plads et attraktivt område og en markant del af det københavnske kulturliv. Onkel Dannys Plads er en gårdplads, men også et skabende kulturfællesskab, som blandt andet rummer et spisehus, koncertsteder, eventspace og atelier.
