Vogue sessions med Disturbing Business på Glyptoteket
Oplev udstillingen Perfect Poses? og prøv selv kræfter med ekspressive positurer, når Glyptoteket og performancekollektivet Disturbing Business inviterer til vogue sessions den 17. marts i museets smukke Festsal.
Vogue er en dansestil fra 1980'erne med rødder i Harlems afro- og latinamerikanske ballroom-scene, hvor danserne var inspireret af de idealiserede positurer fra modebladet Vogue. Med inspiration fra modemagasinerne og attituden fra LGBTQ-miljøet i New York er vogue en stilistisk og eksplosiv dans, som fejrer forskellighed.
På Glyptoteket vil dansens positurer blive hentet fra Perfect Poses? som en kropslig undersøgelse af udstillingens idealiserede skulpturer.
Alle er velkomne uanset niveau.

Om Disturbing Business
Disturbing Business er et performancekollektiv med base i København bestående af dansere, ekstravagante excentrikere og freaks of nature, der specialiserer sig i voguing, waacking og performance. Disturbing Business holder løbende vogue-sessions i Dansekapellet.
Performere: Beck Heiberg, Laura Ellegaard, Hjalte Ebsen Andersen, Ida Poulsen, Samara Nabrawi, Michiel Tange van Leeuwen og Maji Claire.

Billetten giver udover deltagelse i vogue session adgang til Glyptotekets særudstilling og samlinger hele dagen.
Bemærk: Gratis billetter skal også reserveres via Billetto eller afhentes i museumsbutikken.
Vogue sessions afholdes i samarbejde mellem Glyptoteket, Dansekapellet og Tuborgfondet.
